im thinking of buying guildwars
but i want to know if you can install it on more than 1 pc because i have more than one pc.

could you please help !

yes. the install isn't important, anybody can install it. you just need an account to play. discs are faster than downloading IMO.

You can install the game on any number of PCs. You can only play on one PC at a time as you only have one account. If you buy more than one account, you can play simultaneously on more than one PC.

Hope that made sense.

And as the complete game download is large (almost 4GB), you can download once then just copy the gw.dat file onto other computers and save a lot of time.

You can install in whichever method you wish. If you have a fast internet connection go to www.guildwars.com/download and download the client there.

When it's done do the -image command.

And when -image is done, take out the -image.

(The purpose of -image is to download content that would download at loading screen which would take forever, so please do -image to spare yourself the frustration.)

As has been already stated, you can install the game client on as many computer's as you want.

The restriction is by means of game accounts - you can only run 1 game account on each machine, so if you wanted to be able to play GW on both computer's at the same time you would need to have 2 game accounts.

However, 1 game account is not limited to 1 pc - you can play on any computer you want with your game account - all you need to know is your username and password for your game account - this is because your account information is stored on the main GW server's, and not on your pc.. thus you can login and play on any computer which has GW installed on it.

No. Which game has EVER allowed to do that for online accounts?

Why would you want to do that, anyway? You use key in your account, you don't need it anymore.
